OMG SHOCKING!!! EastEnders fans slam Jack Branning’s ‘ridiculous’ security blunder amid shooting drama
EastEnders fans were left in disbelief as a scene showing Jack Branning accessing his safe at home aired during Monday’s episode

EastEnders has been full of drama recently with Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) finding themselves in the thick of it.
Their ongoing feud reached a dramatic peak when they ended up tussling over a gun, resulting in Jack accidentally shooting Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan).
The secret that Jack and Ravi are responsible for the shooting is still under wraps, and they’ve been frantically trying to keep it that way, with Jack leveraging his position in the police force.
However, their cover-up efforts are starting to unravel as they struggle to cooperate, and Denise Fox (Diane Parish) is growing suspicious of her husband, while DS Spencer (Florence Howard) is eager to uncover the truth.
In Monday’s episode (8 September), viewers saw Jack stashing the gun in his home safe after assuring Ravi he’d get rid of it, reports Plymouth Live.

However, EastEnders fans were distracted by Jack’s lax security measures, noticing that his safe’s passcode is simply 1234.
“No Jack, keep it in your pocket. It’s probably more secure there than in your bloody safe with that whacka** passcode #eastenders,” one fan quipped on X.
Another viewer commented: “can we talk about jack’s code for the safe being 1234 i mean not like he’s hiding a gun in there #eastenders,” while a third posted: “I’m sorry is Jack’s safe code 1234? ? ? ? ? ? #eastenders”.
“Oh for goodness sake, of course the code to Jack’s safe is 1234, there’s not a single competent police officer in soap land #EastEnders,” another complained, and somebody else added: “the code to jack’s safe being 1234 is ridiculous #Eastenders.”
In a desperate attempt to protect himself, Jack has chosen to double-cross Ravi and attempt to pin the shooting on him, which will undoubtedly spectacularly backfire.

He promised Ravi he would get rid of the weapon but urged Ravi to flee Walford in an effort to mislead the authorities.
Yet Jack’s true scheme was exposed when he crept into Ravi’s home and concealed the firearm, having chosen to set Ravi up for the shooting.
