Shocking GH Twist: Jason Remembers Monica While Tracy makes a declaration after Monica’s passing.

Despite their differences, Jason and Tracy came together to mourn the loss of Monica during the September 18, 2025 episode of General Hospital.

Monica’s House

After Jason (Steve Burton) tearfully broke the news that Monica (the late Leslie Charleson) had passed, her long-time frenemy Tracy (Jane Elliot) refused to believe it.

She noted how Monica had just seen Scout (Cosette Abinante) and Wiley (Viron Weaver) to wish them well on their first day of school, and that what Jason was saying couldn’t be true.

Jason’s Grief

Later, still only Jason and Tracy in the mansion, the two bonded over their shared grief for the Quartermaine matriarch.

Flashbacks of Monica with Tracy and Jason were shown, while Jason admitted to Tracy that he wished he could remember growing up with Monica.

His brain injury from the accident with AJ (Sean Kanan) gave him permanent amnesia and forever changed the person Jason is, but Tracy assured him that Monica welcomed him as her own son the second she met him.

General Hospital spoilers for September 19 tease Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) being the one to break the news of Monica’s death to Drew (Cameron Mathison).
